Bishop Tony Burton
A former student of King’s College, and priest of the Diocese of Nova Scotia, the Right Reverend Anthony Burton has often returned to the South Shore for more than forty years. As the former Bishop of Saskatchewan in the Anglican Church of Canada, and current rector of the Church of the Incarnation in Dallas, Texas, Tony brings decades of experience leading charitable organizations.
Jim Sunderland
Jim has lived in the LaHave area for more than forty years. As a sailor and local sawyer, he has explored the inlets and coastal lands throughout the LaHave area. As a father, he loves to share the ocean and wildlife with family and friends.
Dr. Brian Branfireun
Brian is an environmental scientist, and his love of nature has led him to study wetlands and watersheds from the Canadian subarctic to the subtropics of Mexico. His family hails from Pictou County, Nova Scotia. Brian’s lab at Western University measures trace metals such as mercury and arsenic, and his work seeks to better understand how people and the environment affect each other and will be impacted by climate change in the future.
